Precision Agriculture Technologies Made in Ukraine: FRENDT Expands into International Markets
FRENDT is entering a new strategic stage of development by bringing its proprietary technological solutions for the agricultural sector to international markets. This involves not only exporting products abroad but also presenting Ukrainian engineering innovations developed for modern precision agriculture.
For the Company, this is not merely an expansion of its sales geography but a transition to a new level of international presence, partnership development, and the promotion of Ukrainian AgTech solutions in foreign markets.
Particularly significant is the fact that the products FRENDT plans to export are manufactured in Ukraine by the Company’s specialists. These solutions have been created based on practical experience working with agricultural producers, a deep understanding of field operations, engineering expertise, and the real needs of agribusiness.
Ukraine’s agricultural sector operates in conditions of intense competition, rising resource costs, climate change, and a constant need to maximise the efficiency of every technological operation. For this reason, solutions developed in Ukraine have strong practical value: they are designed not for theoretical innovation but for everyday use in the field.
FRENDT’s export portfolio will include the TerraNavix automatic steering system and the FlyAgData digital solution. In the future, the Company’s own cable products may also become part of its international offering.

TerraNavix
One of the key products FRENDT will introduce to the international market is TerraNavix, an automatic steering system for agricultural machinery.
TerraNavix helps machinery follow a predefined path with high precision, reducing overlaps and skips, easing the operator’s workload, and ensuring consistent execution of field operations.
For farmers, this means not only more comfortable machine operation but also a direct impact on farm economics: fewer unnecessary passes, more efficient use of fuel, seeds, fertilisers, and crop protection products, as well as more consistent work quality throughout the entire working day.
The system operates with RTK accuracy of up to ±2.5 cm and supports working speeds from 0.5 to 18 km/h. This range makes TerraNavix suitable for various field operations, from planting and inter-row cultivation to spraying, fertiliser application, and harvesting.
The TerraNavix package consists of four main components: a 10.1-inch Android-based display, an RW2 electric steering wheel, a GNSS antenna, and an external IMU module for terrain compensation. The system combines precision, a user-friendly interface, versatility, and compatibility with different types of agricultural machinery.
An important feature of TerraNavix is its cross-platform compatibility. The system can be installed on tractors, sprayers, and combines, making it suitable for both small farms and large agricultural enterprises with diverse machinery fleets.
Another advantage for international markets is the possibility of self-installation. Installation typically takes around four hours, and the availability of video instructions makes the process clear and straightforward for both customers and dealers. This simplifies the deployment of TerraNavix, reduces dependence on on-site service engineers, and makes the product more scalable internationally.
For FRENDT, exporting TerraNavix is an opportunity to introduce an internationally competitive Ukrainian solution developed to address real agricultural challenges. It is not merely a navigation system but a tool that helps make field operations more precise, predictable, and economically efficient.

FlyAgData
The second key product in FRENDT’s international portfolio is FlyAgData – a digital solution for collecting, recording, transmitting, and analysing data from agricultural machinery.
The FlyAgData controller is installed on agricultural equipment such as tractors, sprayers, seeders, cultivators, spreaders, and other machinery, and records operational parameters in real time.
The controller captures travel speed, fuel consumption, deviations from target application rates, downtime periods, and the quality of field operations. As a result, farms receive a complete digital picture of field processes without manual data entry and without having to rely solely on reports generated after the work has been completed.
FlyAgData transforms machinery into a source of reliable production and agronomic information. Data is automatically collected during operations, stored within the system, and can be used for monitoring, analytics, reporting, and strategic planning. Based on this data, farmers can verify seeding uniformity, monitor compliance with application maps during spraying operations, assess costs associated with each machine, record downtime, analyse operator errors, and compare the quality of work performed across different fields or machinery units.
Importantly, FlyAgData creates an evidence-based foundation for agronomic reporting. Such data can be used not only for internal farm analytics but also for external verification by auditors, customers, partners, or certification bodies. Farms receive not merely machine data, but a verified digital history of field operations that can be used for quality control, reporting, internal analysis, and management decision-making.
Another advantage of FlyAgData is its ability to integrate with machinery of different brands and generations, provided that basic smart sensors are available. This enables farms to gradually digitalise their existing machinery fleet without the need for complete equipment replacement.
All collected data can be automatically transferred to enterprise management systems or professional agronomic software platforms. Remote access allows agronomists, managers, and operators to monitor current field activities from a smartphone or computer regardless of their location.

Cable Manufacturing
Another promising direction of FRENDT’s international development is cable manufacturing.
For modern agricultural machinery, cables, wiring harnesses, connectors, and connection interfaces are critical components that ensure the stable operation of electronic systems. Their quality directly affects the performance of navigation systems, autosteer solutions, controllers, sensors, monitors, seeders, sprayers, and other equipment.
In field conditions, cable products operate under constant stress: dust, moisture, vibration, temperature fluctuations, mechanical damage, and intensive seasonal use. For this reason, the reliability of electrical connections has a direct impact on machine uptime and the quality of field operations.
FRENDT’s in-house cable manufacturing capabilities may become an important complement to the export of TerraNavix and FlyAgData. In the future, the Company will be able to offer not only complete systems but also components tailored to specific machinery, operating conditions, and customer requirements.
This direction has the potential to develop both as a support service for export products and as a separate product category within agricultural electronics.
International Development and the Search for Overseas Representatives
FRENDT’s international operations are led by William Cheyney, a partner from the United Kingdom who was among the first to recognise the potential of the Company’s technological solutions for international markets and subsequently became the Export Sales Manager. His work focuses on expanding FRENDT’s international presence, communicating with potential customers, partners, dealers, and distributors, and promoting the Company’s products outside Ukraine, particularly in the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, and the United States of America.
Entering international markets requires more than simply having a quality product. It also requires systematic work with partners, an understanding of the specifics of different agricultural markets, knowledge of local farmers’ needs, and awareness of customer service expectations. For this reason, FRENDT has established international development as a separate strategic direction for the Company’s growth.
As part of expanding its presence in foreign markets, FRENDT is seeking Company representatives abroad. This includes partners, dealers, and local representatives who are prepared to develop precision agriculture solutions in their respective countries and represent Ukrainian technological innovations in the global agricultural market.
Representatives who join FRENDT’s international team will be offered official employment with the Company. They will play a key role in building FRENDT’s international sales department and helping establish a sustainable presence for the Company in new markets.
This approach will enable the Company not only to export equipment but also to gradually build an international partner network. For FRENDT, this is an important step towards strengthening its presence in foreign markets, gaining a deeper understanding of customer needs in different countries, and promoting Ukrainian AgTech solutions more effectively around the world.
FRENDT’s expansion into international markets marks an important milestone in the Company’s development and provides an opportunity to introduce Ukrainian technological solutions to the global agricultural community.
TerraNavix demonstrates the potential of Ukrainian engineering in the field of automatic steering systems. FlyAgData opens up a new level of digital control over field operations, analytics, and production transparency. In the future, cable manufacturing may strengthen the Company’s export portfolio and become an important element of comprehensive technical support.
For FRENDT, international development is not merely about exporting equipment. It represents a new level of responsibility, reputation, and technological presence. It is a step towards ensuring that Ukrainian precision agriculture solutions become part of the global agricultural market.
